Somli Institute for Environmental Peace  (SIEP)

Founded by group of intellectual and environmental educators using their human capital who felt the need to establish of this institution to respond the environmental problems through education, awareness, training, researches and technologicalinnovations to protect and conserve the environment for Somalia as well as the region and to reduce poverty and promote sustainable development.

The Somali Institute for Environmental Peace will be part of global efforts for environmental solutions to combating desertification, wildlife crimes, Waste and chemical management and degradations on earth resulted by human development impacts of the environment and to tackle the  lack of awareness by the politicians and general public. The researches will support the government, Non-governmental organizations, and the institution’spartners for taking good decisions towards national environmental protection strategy.
